Community Gardens

Free Coat Program

St. Paul runs a coat give-away program each fall.  Members of our community who are in need, may come by on Saturday mornings from mid-October through mid-December and select free winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves and boots.  We are always looking for donations of winter apparel from our congregation or community.  Donations may be left in the church office.

The Refuge Shelter

St. Paul participates in the Refuge homeless shelter project.  During cold weather months, area churches take turns hosting the homeless in our community.  Help is needed in many areas of this project: transportation to and from the in-take site, providing meals, chaperoning of our guests, providing laundry services.  Watch the church newsletter for the dates of this program and find a way to offer your assistance and show God's love to the needy in our community.

4th of July Celebration

At St. Paul, we love to celebrate the 4th of July!  Our parking lot is the best spot in town to view the Lapeer fireworks display.  Before the show begins, we have lots of fun activities for the whole family – food, games, music, tours of St. Paul School. Lots of help is always needed for this great event.
